Francesco Di Candia

I’m a partner at ADVision Agency, a communication agency based in southern Puglia, where I lead digital strategy and WordPress development for brands committed to quality and storytelling. Over the years, my work has evolved beyond websites, I now help organizations build sustainable digital cultures, starting with internal communication and knowledge sharing. I’ve been an active member of the WordPress community since 2013, contributing as a translator, meetup organizer, WordCamp speaker, and support volunteer. I’ve helped organize WordCamps across Italy and Europe, and I’m currently one of the three Global Leads for WordCamp Europe 2026 in Kraków. I’m also one of the founding leads of WordPress Credits, the WordPress Foundation’s initiative to connect university students with real-world open source contribution. In this role, I oversee mentorship, program structure, and partnerships with academic institutions, helping students turn academic work into meaningful impact within the WordPress ecosystem. I believe in open source not just as a technology, but as a community practice, one that thrives when we invest in people, not just code.
