FELIX ARNTZ<\/strong><\/a>: is a WordPress freelancer based in Germany, where he has been implementing client solutions and plugins for several years now. He is a backend developer with a major focus on multisite environments. He is moderator at WordPress Development Stack Exchange and one of the most active users there. After almost 10 years of freelancing and collaboration with international agencies, he now works as WordPress engineer at Inpsyde, one of the biggest european WordPress agencies and VIP partner. <\/p>\n IVELINA DIMOVA<\/strong><\/a>: WordPress developer working at CrowdFavorite where are created web solutions for big enterprise companies. \nIn his session, Getting the REST API ready for Multisite<\/a>, Felix will talk about the efforts of bringing Multisite endpoints to the REST API and the challenges that arise as a result. The REST API, one of the three major focuses that Matt Mullenweg announced for this year. On the other hand, Multisite has always been a minor focus on the WordPress project, as the number of its users is relatively low. However, those few who maintain larger WordPress setups usually activate Multisite and need its functionality as much as ever. With WordPress 4.7, the REST API content endpoints were merged into core \u2013 however without any proper handling of Multisite. The Multisite team has stepped forward and announced getting the REST API compatible as their primary goal for 2017.<\/p>\n

Essere una \u201cproduct person\u201d \u00e8 una mentalit\u00e0, e non necessariamente si riferisce a un prodotto in particolare. In questo talk, spiegher\u00f2 come applico la mia identit\u00e0 di \u201cproduct person\u201d a tutto ci\u00f2 che faccio: identifica un problema, stabilisci un obiettivo a lungo termine, crea una prima soluzione, testala, concentrati su cosa funziona, aggiusta o elimina ci\u00f2 che non funziona, lancia, fai crescere. Non importa qual \u00e8 o cos\u2019\u00e8 il prodotto di cui parliamo.<\/p>\n
\nNel suo interevento, Il contratto di sviluppo di un sito WordPress<\/a>, Giorgio ci spiegher\u00e0 perch\u00e9 \u00e8 importante avere un contratto? Quali sono le clausole indispensabili e gli errori da evitare? Dai tempi di pagamento alla consegna dei materiali, dal diritto di autore alla manutenzione del sito: come avere un contratto che soddisfi te ed il tuo cliente.<\/p>\n
\nNel suo talk, Continuously delivering WordPress<\/a>, Giuseppe esporr\u00e0 una serie di strumenti e strategie per implementare un strategia di Continuous Delivery per moderni siti web basati su WordPress. C\u2019era una volta un tempo in cui il web master (figura semi-mitica ormai estinta) per mettere online un sito web si armava soltanto di un client FTP e tanta pazienza. Oggi, invece, \u201cDevOps\u201d, \u201cContinuos Delivery\u201d, \u201cContinuos integration\u201d\u2026 non sono soltanto \u201cbuzzword\u201d, ma anche pratiche con cui uno sviluppatore web professionale deve fare i conti giornalmente o quasi.<\/p>\n
\nIn her talk, The magic of debugging legacy code<\/a>, Ivelina will tell us that as lead of the Ongoing Client Support at CrowdFavorite she has worked with lots of legacy code on different projects. This session covers some of the lessons she has learned in the process and tips how to deal with the most common issues faster and more effective. It also shows how the legacy code can be actually fun.<\/p>\n
