Perch\u00e9 \u00e8 una esperienza bellissima, perch\u00e9 \u00e8 un modo di contribuire al progetto Open Source WordPress, perch\u00e9 ti permetter\u00e0 di conoscere tante persone, perch\u00e9 potrai sentirti parte di questa grande e fantastica community che \u00e8 quasi un po’ una famiglia, e per tantissimi altri buoni motivi.<\/p>\n

DAI, CANDIDATI: COSA ASPETTI?<\/a><\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

Un WordCamp esiste grazie alle persone che, volontariamente,<\/strong> scelgono di dedicare del tempo all’organizzazione<\/strong> e poi alla gestione<\/strong> delle tante cose che fanno di questi due giorni una grande festa.<\/p>\n

Puoi fare parte anche tu di questo team: non ci sar\u00e0 bisogno di\u00a0altro che di entusiasmo,<\/strong> buona volont\u00e0<\/strong>, voglia di mettere il tuo tempo a disposizione della community.<\/p>\n

Fare il volontario significa vivere da dentro l’evento: significa sentirsi parte del funzionamento di questa splendida macchina, arrivare a sera esausti ma euforici, sapere che le persone si stanno godendo l’intero evento anche grazie al tuo contributo.<\/p>\n

Perch\u00e9 candidarsi come volontario? Ci sono mille motivi per cui farlo. Quello che per me ha pi\u00f9 importanza e che mi spinge a candidarmi ogni volta che posso, \u00e8 la carica che questa esperienza ti lascia dentro.<\/strong>\u00a0Conoscere persone nuove e rivedere vecchi Amici, per non parlare poi del lasciare il proprio piccolo contributo a ci\u00f2 per cui altri hanno lavorato per mesi!

Al mio primo WordCamp ho partecipato come volontario, senza chiedermi prima\u00a0come sarebbe andata e quali emozioni avrei vissuto. Quel che \u00e8 successo, \u00e8 che da quel momento in poi \u00e8 cambiata completamente la mia visione!<\/strong>
\nDopo la mia esperienza al WordCamp Europe il mio modo di ragionare \u00e8 completamente cambiato, ho creato il Meetup ad Andria, instaurato subito collaborazioni … la cosa fondamentale sono i contatti che si creano, la mia professionalit\u00e0 lavorativa \u00e8 cresciuta molto.\u00a0Non sei un programmatore? Non sai niente della community? Vuoi condividere qualcosa? E allora? Buttati!

Il WordCamp Milano 2016 \u00e8 stata per me la prima volta da volontaria. Dopo Torino 2016, dove ero stata solo come spettatrice, ho deciso di mettermi in gioco e vedere come funziona un WordCamp da dietro le quinte. Ho scoperto che\u00a0\u00e8 un mettersi in prima linea sopratutto a livello umano e personale<\/strong>, prima ancora che di lavoro. Personalmente mi sono divertito, ho conosciuto tante belle persone e, specie io che sono parecchio timido, ho avuto l\u2019occasione di mettermi in gioco, vincere la timidezza, di dare un mio contributo all\u2019evento<\/strong>, imparare dall\u2019esperienza degli altri, crescere personalmente e professionalmente, stringere amicizie, vedere tante persone contente di aver preso parte all\u2019evento e di aver passato belle giornate, tutto grazie anche al mio piccolo contributo da volontario, insieme a quello degli altri. Penso sia un\u2019esperienza utile per tutti \ud83d\ude42

Why you should apply as a volunteer for WordCamp Torino 2017?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Because it is such a beautiful experience! It is a way to contribute to the Open Source WordPress project, it will allow you to meet a lot of people, and you will feel part of this great and amazing community that is almost like a family… and for many more good reasons!<\/span><\/p>\n

Because we need you!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Come on, apply: what are you waiting for?<\/span><\/a><\/h4>\n

WordCamps exist thanks to all the people that choose to voluntarily commit\u00a0to organize<\/strong>\u00a0and manage<\/strong>\u00a0all the tasks required to run\u00a0such a great event.<\/p>\n

You can be part of this team too! You just need your\u00a0enthusiasm and the willing\u00a0to give away some of your\u00a0free time to the community.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Volunteering means experiencing this event from the inside: it means to feel part of this beautiful machine<\/strong>, to be tired -but euphoric – at the end of day, to be aware that attendants are enjoying the entire event also thanks to your contribution.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why I applied as a volunteer ? There are so many reasons to do it. What is more important for me and makes me apply every time I can, is that it makes you feel really charged up<\/strong>. Meeting new people and seeing again old friends, not to mention giving your little contribution to what someone else has been working on for months.

I attended my first WordCamp as a volunteer, without asking me first what might have been and what emotions I would have lived.\u00a0From that moment on, my point of view towards WordCamps has completely changed!<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>After my experience at WordCamp Europe I completely changed my way of thinking, I created a new Meetup in Andria, I set up really quickly collaborations … what really matters are new relationships, my expertise has grown a lot. Aren’t you a developer? Don’t you know anything about the community? Would you like to share something? So what? Jump in!

WordCamp Milano 2016 was the first time for me as a volunteer. After Torino 2016, where I was just an attendee, I decided to put myself on the line and see how a WordCamp works behind the scenes. I discovered that it means putting oneself on the line especially at a human and personal level,<\/strong> even before the working level. At the end what is truly important is donating a smile, trying to make people feel at ease, feeling oneself part of something larger. It was an amazing experience and I can\u2019t wait for doing it again.

Personally I had fun, I met a lot of nice people. Since I’m a\u00a0really shy person, I had the occasion to put myself on the line, get over my shyness, give my contribution to the event<\/strong>, learn from the experience of others, grow personally and professionally, make new friends, see a lot of people being happy\u00a0and having a good time. All this happened also thanks to my little contribution as a volunteer, together with the others\u2019. I think it is a useful experience for everyone.
