Ci sono mille motivi per cui farlo. Quello che per me ha pi\u00f9 importanza e che mi spinge a candidarmi ogni volta che posso, <strong>\u00e8 la carica che questa esperienza ti lascia dentro.<\/strong>\u00a0Conoscere persone nuove e rivedere vecchi Amici, per non parlare poi del lasciare il proprio piccolo contributo a ci\u00f2 per cui altri hanno lavorato per mesi!<br \/>\n&#8211; Selena &#8211;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Al mio primo WordCamp ho partecipato come volontario, senza chiedermi prima\u00a0come sarebbe andata e quali emozioni avrei vissuto. Quel che \u00e8 successo, <strong>\u00e8 che da quel momento in poi \u00e8 cambiata completamente la mia visione!<\/strong><br \/>\nDopo la mia esperienza al WordCamp Europe il mio modo di ragionare \u00e8 completamente cambiato, ho creato il Meetup ad Andria, instaurato subito collaborazioni &#8230; la cosa fondamentale sono i contatti che si creano, la mia professionalit\u00e0 lavorativa \u00e8 cresciuta molto.\u00a0Non sei un programmatore? Non sai niente della community? Vuoi condividere qualcosa? E allora? Dopo Torino 2016, dove ero stata solo come spettatrice, ho deciso di mettermi in gioco e vedere come funziona un WordCamp da dietro le quinte. <strong>Ho scoperto che\u00a0\u00e8 un mettersi in prima linea sopratutto a livello umano e personale<\/strong>, prima ancora che di lavoro. Quello che \u00e8 importante, alla fine, \u00e8 questo: regalare un sorriso, cercare di mettere le persone a proprio agio, sentirsi parte di qualcosa pi\u00f9 grande. \u00c8 stata un&#8217;esperienza fantastica e che non vedo l&#8217;ora di ripetere!- Carola &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Personalmente mi sono divertito, ho conosciuto tante belle persone e, specie io che sono parecchio timido, <strong>ho avuto l\u2019occasione di mettermi in gioco, vincere la timidezza, di dare un mio contributo all\u2019evento<\/strong>, imparare dall\u2019esperienza degli altri, crescere personalmente e professionalmente, stringere amicizie, vedere tante persone contente di aver preso parte all\u2019evento e di aver passato belle giornate, tutto grazie anche al mio piccolo contributo da volontario, insieme a quello degli altri. It is a way to contribute to the Open Source WordPress project, it will allow you to meet a lot of people, and you will feel part of this great and amazing community that is almost like a family&#8230; and for many more good reasons!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Because we need you!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/2017.torino.wordcamp.org\/2017\/01\/12\/call-for-volunteers\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Come on, apply: what are you waiting for?<\/span><\/a><\/h4>\n<p>WordCamps exist thanks to all the people that choose to voluntarily commit\u00a0to <strong>organize<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>manage<\/strong>\u00a0all the tasks required to run\u00a0such a great event.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can be part of this team too! You just need your\u00a0<strong>enthusiasm and the willing\u00a0to give away some of your\u00a0free time to the community.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Volunteering means experiencing this event from the inside: it means to <strong>feel part of this beautiful machine<\/strong>, to be tired -but euphoric &#8211; at the end of day, to be aware that attendants are enjoying the entire event also thanks to your contribution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Have a look at what people who&#8217;ve already volunteered in Turin and Milan say about that:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Why I applied as a volunteer ? There are so many reasons to do it. What is more important for me and makes me apply every time I can, is that <strong>it makes you feel really charged up<\/strong>. Meeting new people and seeing again old friends, not to mention giving your little contribution to what someone else has been working on for months.<br \/>\n&#8211; Selena &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I attended my first WordCamp as a volunteer, without asking me first what might have been and what emotions I would have lived.<strong>\u00a0From that moment on, my point of view towards WordCamps has completely changed!<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>After my experience at WordCamp Europe I completely changed my way of thinking, I created a new Meetup in Andria, I set up really quickly collaborations &#8230; what really matters are new relationships, my expertise has grown a lot. Aren&#8217;t you a developer? Don&#8217;t you know anything about the community? Would you like to share something? So what? Jump in!<br \/>\n&#8211; Antonio &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">WordCamp Milano 2016 was the first time for me as a volunteer. After Torino 2016, where I was just an attendee, I decided to put myself on the line and see how a WordCamp works behind the scenes. <strong>I discovered that it means putting oneself on the line especially at a human and personal level,<\/strong> even before the working level. At the end what is truly important is donating a smile, trying to make people feel at ease, feeling oneself part of something larger. It was an amazing experience and I can\u2019t wait for doing it again.<br \/>\n&#8211; Carola &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Personally I had fun, I met a lot of nice people. Since I&#8217;m a\u00a0really shy person, <strong>I had the occasion to put myself on the line, get over my shyness, give my contribution to the event<\/strong>, learn from the experience of others, grow personally and professionally, make new friends, see a lot of people being happy\u00a0and having a good time. All this happened also thanks to my little contribution as a volunteer, together with the others\u2019.
