The Contributor Day (Friday 14 April 2023) and the Conference day (Saturday 15 April 2023) of WordCamp Torino will be held at Toolbox, Via Agostino da Montefeltro n. 2 in Turin, near the city center and within walking distance of the DANTE metro station.

A multifaceted and unique space: Toolbox

Once again for this fifth edition Toolbox Coworking will host the WordCamp Torino: two ex-industrial buildings artfully repurposed and constantly evolving to make comfortable and well-equipped coworking areas.
Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the facility. The spaces dedicated to the event will allow WordCamp Turin to take place in a simple and flexible manner, guaranteeing comfort and safety for all.

How to reach us and get around in Turin

Train and public transport

Both Porta Susa and Porta Nuova railway stations are connected by metro to the DANTE stop, the closest to Toolbox.

From Lingotto station you can either take bus n. 14 or n. 63 and get off at the OSPEDALE MAURIZIANO stop.

Buses and trams

Tram no. 4 and bus no. 42 are the most convenient ways to reach Toolbox. For both, the stop is OSPEDALE MAURIZIANO.

From the Airport

The center of Turin is connected to Turin Caselle airport by the Arriva (formerly Sadem) Bus every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on public holidays.
The terminus is in Piazza Carlo Felice, between Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and Piazza Lagrange, in front of the Porta Nuova railway station.
Stops in Turin are: Porta Susa railway station (bus stop 13, corso Bolzano bus station), corso Umbria at the corner with via Livorno, piazza Stampalia (stop 2409) and the commuting time is about 45/50 minutes.

You can buy the ticket directly on the bus, paying with credit card, or via Arriva MyPay app (Android and Apple).

Car sharing

In Turin, car sharing is offered by various companies, which differ in terms of service methods and tariffs applied. All, however, allow free access to the ZTL (but not in streets and lanes reserved for public transport or in pedestrian areas) and free parking on the blue lines (toll parking areas).

Main car sharing services in Turin:

  • LeasysGO – the first car sharing service that provides subscribers with a fleet of only New FIAT 500 electric cars.
    The service can be completely managed from your smartphone with the dedicated app.
  • Enjoy – cars
    Eni’s car sharing service, allows you to rent cars within the operating area of approximately 45 square km. Registration is free for those with an Italian driving license and you only pay for the actual use of the vehicle. After registering online, you can locate the car and book it via web or app. The “free floating” system allows you to leave your car in any permitted public car park, even on the toll parking spots, in the service coverage area.
  • ShareNow – smart cars.
    It allows you to rent Smart fortwo and Smart forfour within the operating area of approximately 53 square km. Subscription to the service is not free; after registering online, you can locate the car or reserve it through the app. The “free floating” system allows you to park your car in any public car park, even on the blue lines (toll parking spots).
  • MiMoto – scooter sharing
    Two-seater scooters are available in Turin, characterized by the yellow colour, which can be used via a free app to download on your smartphone to locate the nearest vehicle, unlock it, park and pay for the service.

Bike sharing and electric scooters

175 km of cycle paths make it possible to move around Turin in complete safety. There are many bike sharing services, with and without stations, and some bike rental points.

Parking

Toolbox is located in a paid parking area (€ 1,50/hour). You can buy a daily parking voucher for € 10,00 at the tobacconist you’ll find at the corner between Corso Turati and Corso Dante.

Otherwise, you can park for free outside of Torino downtown area. We suggest parking by a metro station and then getting to Toolbox taking the metro. Ticket fare is € 1,70 for a single ride. You can buy tickets right at the metro stations.
